You and me both, Smitty...in fact, I just bought another Greenbone 6207 which, upon closer inspection, I am finding somewhat "suspicious"...stay tuned for photos and updates (if I'm not too embarrassed to admit a possible rookie mistake ). The learning curve combined with The Monkey's eager enthusiasm is a veritable spark in the sea of counterfeit dynamite.

This was supposed to be my Christmas present to myself...ordered it way back in late October but it just now arrived. I was seeing this model showing up on eBay, so I called Shepherd Hills to find out why the one I had pre-ordered over two months ago hadn't been shipped yet...well, lo and behold, it arrived a week later. Go figure.

Thanks, Smitty....I'm almost too ashamed to admit it, but, when I saw this Autumn SC Bone model show up on eBay before I had received the one I had pre-ordered from Shepherd Hills, The Monkey got so impatient, he ordered another one from an eBay seller (same price, but I had to pay tax and shipping on eBay). So it looks like I have another one on the way....it will be interesting to see how they compare as a "matching pair."
Nothing wrong with having multiples of favorite 07 models...right, Skip?

I concur totally. I've looked at several with very slight variation of the patterns of color in the bone. I look forward to seeing the comparison when you receive the other one.

Hello all. Finally received my Case XX 6207 Mini-Trapper in the Second Cut Autumn Bone. Very pleased with it. It doesn't have as much color variation as I was hoping, but I still like it. I believe the pile side has a little more color than the front. Anyway, here it is.

I've looked at about two dozen or more of this model and each one is unique which is cool because basically no two are exactly alike--some are darker, some lighter, some more mottled and some more uniform in color--kind of like appaloosa (or stag) in that respect. My second one is waiting to be picked up at the PO...The Monkey's been nagging me (screeching loudly and impatiently) to get my lazy butt up to the PO to retrieve it for the last two days. I think tomorrow I might finally have a chance to go get it.
jerryd is absolutely correct: That is a very nice green color on your Clover Sawcut Bone 07, John. I especially like the pile side with the blue & yellow highlights. That is probably the closest thing to Peacock Appaloosa (my personal 07 unicorn) that I've seen on a Mini-T so far. Might have to take a closer look at getting one of those for myself. The black quatrefoil shield is nice too...I don't have any of those in my collection...yet.
