Hi Fellas, where can I find a spinning tool? I want to peen the pins but I am a newbie
and don't want to mess my new handles up. I have tried looking through the topics but
am having trouble finding anything on the matter. Any help greatly appreciated.

I've made quite a few for myself....the best ones for 3/32" pins are made out of hex drive bolts, as they already have a nice cup in the bottom. The set screws work great for the 1/16" pins.
But read the thread that's referenced above..it's full of good info.
Adrian Harris has a spinner in his book and it uses 6 - 8 cuts at a 20 degree angle around the cavity. I'm planning on making that one but I want to use 1/4 inch hardened A2 so I can spin nickle silver. I need to check my 416 SS pin stock. I found a couple pieces that were not annealed. That really tears a pinner up.
I only have a couple more fixed blades to finish before I focus on folders.
