My wife hosted a Christmas party last night - her girlfriends and their husbands. I cooked the standing rib roast on the grill, one lady (originally from MD) cooked some terrific crab cakes, and another lady, originally from NY cooked a wonderful seafood chowder. Needless to say dinner was terrific - even the Grinch who carved the roast-beast with his Buck 120 General enjoyed himself. Merry Christmas! OH

Ivory man, very nice pair of pocketknives - is the Stockman one of Jeffin’s reworks? The handles are unique.
Dogg - non-hunting weekend? Nice knives to piddle with though.
David, I thought your Ranger was a Buck 301 at first glance - nice carries. OH

Great looking food, really nice looking and welcoming kitchen, sounds like a great evening. I am sure that rib roast was great, and you've really got me craving crabcakes and seafood chowder. Nothing like being on the East coast for the authentic stuff! Great post OH!

Thanks Ike! The crab cakes where what I consider the “true Maryland type” - big chunks of blue crab instead of little tiny pieces like the restaurants here serve. She knows her crab cakes! OH

Heavy rain outside today, so I’m indoors doing a little bit of sharpening. This Klein three blade has been giving me a hell of a workout trying to put an edge on this dull-ground spear point. But it’s getting there.

Thank you Ken, it was wonderful.
You are welcome I-M, I need to add a few more of his to my EDC collection.
QS, those Anvil’s are a surprisingly good knife to be a value knife.

JP, I have doubts about being able to reverse the clip. Although the screws on both sides appear identical they are not aligned. Plus I think the screws would have to have exceptional length to reach thru the frame. To be certain, a call to Buck asking if the clip can be reversed on the 112+ should settle the matter.
