Case Select XX

Post by mc1130 »

::dang::
Can anyone explain how Case determines what a "Select XX" knife is vs. Case XX or a Limited Edition run?

I have not been able to find an answer yet and even the Case rep. on the phone did not have much insight.

Thanks.

I don't know if they are still doing it, but they made these knives more upscale than their run-of-the-mill production. They did filework, fancy patterns and materials, and better fit and finish.
Sure it's marketing, but the knives are interesting.
