Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

That’s a nice one. I had one that I got in the early 90’s when I was in high school. When the knife bug bit a few years ago I sold it to buy something I thought I just had to have. Now I don’t even remember what that thing was. ::facepalm::

I love that Brahma! I carry a 117 daily. On of the handiest in Buck's lineup.

Here is my latest 117. Re handled in stag.

The 117 is very hard to find now. I just ordered the brass and cocobolo one for my sons. Great size of a knife. I bought 4 of the Brahmas when they were on clearance, but they are not my favorites. I was going to polish a Brahma and put a stag handle on it. But one came along at the right price to save me the effort.

Seriously wondering about the future of the 212 and 117. Both are limited edition short run knives and neither has seen a new run in a while.

While we’re on hard to find Buck Knives, I used my 1972 vintage 121 to fillet a Speck this morning, cooked for lunch. Love the old ones - very thin blade stock. OH

Thanks for the compliments gents, wife and I really enjoyed it. I love my old Buck 121 - best fillet knife I own. Need to find one more to hold onto (have several, but early on I didn’t realize how much thicker they had gotten over the years).

A Christmas gift to myself, 1989 Buck #301 Stockman in Jigged Buck Bone. I have 3 other models in Buck Bone, (#312 Mini Trapper, #314 Trapper and an SFO #333 California Toothpick). I think I need to find a #303 Cadet and a #309 Companion to have all that were made with these handles, (I think). I believe these were only sold at Smoky Mountain Knife Works, but none other that the #333 California Toothpick were SFO's, (Special Factory Orders). I also have a #331 Grandaddy Barlow in Jigged Bone, (another SFO), and a #334 Jumbo Millennium Trapper in Genuine Stag, (a serialized and numbered Limited Edition), I don't think either was considered "Buck Bone".
I sincerely hope you all have a great Christmas despite this Covid thing. Cheers, and Merry Christmas to you all!

Sons Buck knives.
Sons Buck knives.
Last ones I bought were 2 117 brass and cocobolo.

To give to my sons to match the set they got from Sams club a few years back. They basically paid for a 120 and got the 110 free. If any of you got in on that one it was a screaming deal.

Anyway the 117 is a close match and was well received. From what I see 117’s of any type are sold out now everywhere.
