No sir.........waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay outta my price bracket.
Come on now...I'm sure you can find some.holiday spirit and a knife rolling around somewhere!

Not in the $100 range....I have like 2. And one might be less than that...
Scott, I think you've misunderstood me a bit. I'm saying up-to $100 value on knives. It's just the general groundwork, by no means hard/fast rule. The far more important part, is too gift nice knives, something that you feel has value. It's the thought that counts, just like other gift giving :) .

As Willy clarified below. I thought it was up to $100 or what the giver was comfortable with and more that it was something nice and useable.

I'd be happy with anything someone chose to send that they put some thought too. To me this is more about the holiday and spirit of this forum than a dollar value.

I wasn't trying to pile on you btw just trying to encourage!

The experience for me is going to be about doing some research on the person drawn for me, and then coming up with something that I think will blow his or her socks off. Hopefully it will be a knife or knives the person doesn't already have, but likes.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Still sounds like a rich mans game, a $100 knife plus up to $60 to ship it!

Tell you what all, one more rule added...
6. You are too let me know your dream/favorite/bucket list knives are, and I will let the other party know. Other party doesn't have to buy the exact knife/knives, or even close too it. It's just too let each other know, what ones taste in knives are. That way we can make it extra special, agreed?.
Willy--I like Redrider's idea, each gifter can do a little research on the forums to kind of figure out what your giftee likes...JMO🤝

I believe the $100 figure is the top dollar maximum value limit (not the minimum requirement) in order to keep it affordable and within reason, i.e., no Chris Reeves, William Henry, high-end customs, etc. In other words, you send a knife/knives worth NO MORE THAN $100...could be a $35 knife or a $50 knife or a $99 knife (or possibly several knives with a total combined value of no more than $100).

Unless you're shipping internationally, the shipping wouldn't cost more than $10.00 for USPS Priority (Flat Rate Small Box), and even less for 1st Class.
