Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nice! I have the Marble's Cattle King in their version of bone stag. Looks pretty good, I think.
Is the nail nick on you clip difficult to get to? Mine is covered by the pen blade. I can push down a little on the pen blade, or pull the pen about half way out, and get at the clip easy enough. Wasn't reason enough for me to send it back. I did try a shim under the clip (worked great on a Case with a low sitting blade), but it made the tip too proud for my liking.
Anyway, I know how big that knife is, and along with the other two, I hope your 'spenders are up to the task!
Take care and God bless,
Steve

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Early Queen #45 Big Chief and Victorinox Dual Pro X. The Big Chief I'd traded for, as I needed parts to repair a roughly as old #45S (serrated) with a broken backspring. But, this one is an early model with 440C steel; and honestly, is in better condition than the one I meant to repair (which showed extensive exposure to saltwater, which probably caused the broken backspring). I put it in my farm coat for this winter--I keep a large folding knife in all my work coats to supplement and be a backup to an EDC. Being large, easy to open (despite not being an EO model like the #45S and the #45EO), and having half-stops makes it great for the job. And being aluminum frame, light. The Victorinox is the only model they have made with dual one-hand opening blades and one straight edge (spear point), the other serrated (curved belt cutter). I couldn't afford the Rescue Tool, did not find it practical, but it had to have the belt cutter with new serrations. This one was less than $20 used; but like new. They stopped making it in 2014, and it's hard to find. Victorinox always discontinues the practical models, it seems. My favorites the Executive, the Fireman (which the Dual Pro replaced after retiring the former), and the Craftsman were all discontinued in the past five or six years.

Cody, those old 45's are pure user knives.
Woodwalker, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I gravitate to the old used ones. Work experience counts.
QS, I'm not familiar with Mr Park but I bet he serves desk duty well and that red one is always an eye catcher.

Always appreciate your observations doglegg. A minor point: The Knife was issued in relation to a public park dedicated to Peter Stuyvesant long ago. This gentleman was the last leader of the Dutch colony which was ceded to the British and was renamed New York.
