Loving that shot. The background, wood and soil, are perfect for the bone. ::tu::

An absolutely beautiful old knife and a perfect setting. Spent a lot of my late childhood days setting at a pond like that with hook, line and bobber. Good memories. A great pic. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu::

Sign said the fish weren't safe to eat so I probably won't be going back.

Thanks, everyone, it is hard to go wrong when your subject matter is an old, vintage knife. I will probably be posting more pictures of it in Knife Lore, later today.

Very nice picture, Rose and Thistle, I like the reflections in the water.
What is it, that would make the fish unsafe to eat?

I don't know for sure, it's a shallow pond near a freeway, so possibly chemicals in the runoff or an algae bloom?

Thanks, Tom, appreciate it! That is a lake, most of the rivers around me are muddy, and wouldn't look like that. Only the smaller rivers, just a little South of me where it is hilly and rocky, have a "clean" look to them.
