New regular 110 in Ebony as I like the throw back to the originals and The Taylor Guitar connection.

New 110 Slim Pro as I am curious what the moderns are like. Just couldn't do the clip so off it came as for me a clip on a 110 is a sacrilege. Don't mind it on the Vantage.

New 119 Coco colored to keep my 120 company when hunting and camping.

So, back on Oct 30, in this thread, John (JMH58) posted a pic of a Slimline Buck 110...his first. Bruce made a comment that John was lucky enough to get a "limited run" on that knife due to the style of handle. Instead of the normal checkered pattern, John's knife had the swirly (not sure what else to call them) pattern. I had not seen that pattern on the Slimline and went in search for one for my collection. But alas...not to be found. I mentioned it to my brother if he had ever seen it, and he hadn't. He has 'connections' in high places and made a phone call...and what do you know...some were sent back to Buck because 'someone' didn't like them. Anyway...long story short, he was able to acquire two of them...and YAY! He got me one....LUCKY ME! This is a sweet pattern on these. (lighting was messed up on two of these photos)

The handles are topo maps and the lines are contour lines. Being a retired civil engineer, I had to have one too
I notice yours came in a box. Mine came in a tin:

These are LT series knives btw, at least down here in the states. The handles are the same size as the standard 110's. The slims are much thinner. Did they do a slim with the topo in Canada?

Technically a Buck by Wenger. Wenger made the entire SwissBuck series. I think that model is called the SwissBuck Globetrotter. I had one, but someone had really treated it poorly, and had damaged the Phillips screwdriver and the liners surrounding its blade layer. I took it apart for modding spares. I put the scales on a Highlander I used as a work knife; which later was passed on during the POS exchange this year.

Thank you Cody. So Buck only marked it with stickers on the handles, no markings on blade. Seems a little 'sketchy'. I recently watched an ebay auction for a Swiss Buck and it went over $100 which surprised me ++.

KJ, those SwissBucks are becoming quite collectible - Buck collectors and Wenger collectors pursue them. I bought two when they came out, gave my wife the small one (Classic size) and gave my daughter the larger one when she was a Girl Scout. Both of them still have and use their SwissBucks - like all Wenger's, very well built pocketknives. OH

And that clip-point blade is a better whittling and woodcarving blade than the standard Wenger spear. A few Wenger models used that same blade, but it was mostly seen on the SwissBucks.
