Phil, I think I enjoy seeing broken beat up old knives brought back to a beautiful usable condition even more than seeing the same knife in mint condition. Good work by you and Jeff. Nice knife.____Dave

I pasted a link to one I had ordered...and it came in. Set up was very easy, albeit, you have to d-load the driver from their site so it will work via the program. The site was legit and reliable. Once set up, I was amazed at the clarity of what I could see and the photo's it took. I viewed everything on my computer monitor, made the adjustments I needed to...and these photos are the result. This may not be for everyone, but being's I mentioned ordering, thought I would provide some feedback pertaining to any 'informed' decisions.

These photos were posted in another thread also.
Wow! That's awesome! ::tu:: ::nod::

Philip...I concur. Jeff does FANTASTIC artistic work on bringing knives back to life. I've got two of his to substantiate and validate his awesome skill. ::tu::

I had noticed the pretty new handles on the knives in the Second Life Knives store by member Jeffinn. He turned the sow's ear into a silk purse!

Jeffin did the same on some old Delrin Schrades for us, great work, great look, great improvement. Wouldn't know it was the same knife. Fabulous.

Thanks for the comments Doglegg, Steve W, appreciate it.

This Sabre Solingen showed up a few days ago. It's the first SABRE that I have. I like how they used one large "S" for both words on the stamp. The "223" under the AKC & GERMANY may have been scratched on there later. ::hmm:: I don't know, but it doesn't look stamped to me. ::shrug::

Anyways, it's a nice little knife and went straight into a slip & into my pocket. ::nod:: :D

Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake::

Iman, I think the figure in your wooden handle is very fine.

Philip, It so happens that I love smooth wooden handles, I love the color red, and I love Stockman's, all of which is to say ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Congrats, beautiful Blade Forum Wharnie. Great to see.

Sun finally came out after days of rain and had some good light and weather for pics to do the knife justice. Ocoee they called it. As a sucker for rustic line Northwooods I'm partial and biased but love the 92s as well as any, maybe the best. Have several, but this is a whole different animal, snaps different, feels different, blade looks so different. Ocoee doesn't feel like a Talon to me. Amazing to me GEC can make knives on the same frame with such different feel and characteristics. Love what they do to them. Thanks SSK, appreciate it big time.
You are welcome. That one was hardest for me to part with. Glad it went to a good home. It’s a gorgeous knife.

I got in a pearl handled Marbles from 2001. The pearl has a greenish fire to it, I like it. Not a single scratch of blade rub on this one. This is my fourth whittler like this. I have 2 A.G. Russell stag made by Queen and a S&M pearl and now this one made by Queen for Marbles, or at least the parts came from Queen. I believe that these were assembled in Gladstone.

Two questions.
What is the closed length?
Can you legally carry it in the UK?

It's more the blade length than closed size that's the issue in the uk, the blade has to be a max of 3inches a d non locking , so this is spot on as a tad under 3inches and a slipjoint ::tu::

So, what?? They figure a three inch blade won't get to your essential innards but a 3-1/16th will? ::facepalm::
