I agree, I've always had a soft spot for revolvers. I've come full circle I guess from autos back to them.

I agree! It doesn’t get much better than a good revolver, and those S&W 357’s are top of the heap.

Hit Cabelas the other day, picked up some extra ammo for my .22 rifle, and CZ P-09.
The .22 really likes their round nose, 14.66 gr "X-Field" , so we'll see how she handles these sluggers... They sure look mean, that's for sure.
And the for the CZ, been wanting to run some through, seeing as she can handle both balls, and pellets. It's going to be interesting, in the least, too see how big of a difference they make.
Now all I need, is a pile of spare mags... 16 rounds sure ain't enough.

Had a S&W Mod. 19 (.38 & .357) but my son has it now. He lives in TN and has a CCP, I live in IL and do not have a CCP (for whatever that's worth).

In another thread on User names I posted this photograph. I was asked to talk about the revolver and directed to this thread. Okay, it is a S&W Model 22-4 one of two that I have owned. 4” tapered barrel with the re-enforced ejector lug, fixed sights and a square grip frame. Oh, chambered for the 45 ACP. The lineage is through two grand revolvers from the early 20th Century, the 44 Special Third Model Hand Ejector and the 45 Hand Ejector Model of 1917. This blending resulted in what may have been the finest Police sidearm, if it had been introduced in 1920 instead of 20??!

It is my EDC.

My holster and belt game in today!
I couldn't be happier with the color, a deep, rich mahogany.
The pistol sits in real snug, making me understand why the shootists would tie down their rig.

Thanks Byrd.
Mernickle Holsters ---> https://www.mernickleholsters.com/
They offer authentic (like mine), Cowboy Fast Draw, Hollywood, Concealed Carry, Cowboy Action, and more.
All available for a custom build.
Their pricing was right for me. Many of the other custom holster sites I looked at wanted $200-$500 more than mine.
Since one can check the site and know for certain, I'll make it no secret that I paid $210.
Take care and God bless,

Steve, that's a good price. I'm familiar with that company. They make quality holsters. You not wear that out in your lifetime. Now you need to fill those loops with boolits!
