M C Co Majestic.Meriden,Magnetic PA Knives how about Union C

David or anyone else who might know. As seen in photo's this has the M C Co over USA. Bernard in LG4 alludes to Union Cutlery being the maker of USA made knife stamped as subject. How about your thoughts? It is the time of year out here on the left coast that pictures go to the bad place so try to deal with what I have shown.

Maybe so, but there is no sign of an anvil only the monogram. My reference shows that to be Magnetic made by Union Cut. Co. There was another made for Magnetic by D Peres, however they were from Germany with a blue bird marking and the name Peres.

I’ve got two different knives here which have the names referenced in your post. Were these both made by the same company and was that in the Magnetic Philadelphia Cutlery location?
-The one talking about Washington says Magnetic Cutlery Phila, PA on one side and on the other side it says Perez
-The other knife referencing Lord Baltimore & crabs says M.C. Co. Germany

I believe they are both made by Daniel Peres. Magnetic Cutlery was one of their stamps and aluminum handled commemorative figural knives were a specialty of theirs. The oval style is the most common.
