Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Mike, that's a very good looking 22LR1 pocket knife. ::tu::
Here is another of the "Rimfire Classic" series you've got to obtain,
if you're going after the whole series (22LR6).
The whole "Rimfire Classic" series is pictured last.

Today I'm adding these three pocket knives to my collection. First, a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. Second, a CAMILLUS 72 "YELLO-JAKET", 3 blade, swelled center, yellow handles, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. Last, a CAMILLUS "WHAT-A-KNIFE", all metal, single blade pocket knife. The CAMILLUS 72s needed minor cleaning, the "WHAT-A-KNIFE" didn't need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are. The "WHAT-A-KNIFE" is in the next post.

Today this knife joins my "general" CAMILLUS pocket knife collection. It's a CAMILLUS, single blade, lockback, "King Of Hearts" pocket knife. It didn't need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

The top one, I don't know.
The bottom one, three line tang stamp, 1916 to the early 1930s.
(Per AAPK CAMILLUS tang stamp chart)

Thanks Skip. There was also a 3-line stamping that was used for a 'couple' of years in early 1900's before the 4-line began showing up. Could these knives be from even earlier than 1916 ?
