Old Remington bullet shield placements

i just found these on ebay. they both appear to be old origial r4353 knives. look at the shields there in differen places. is this common? or is one of them bogus or newer?

the pins look centered but the shield placement is different. shouldn't the shield be centered on the handle?

Your right John, i didnt notice that. you would think the shield would be centered on a moose. maybe remington collector will give us his two cents worth.

i was just looking at the bullet info on this forum, it show the moose's shield to be set off centered, with the baby muscrats shield to be centered.
