Well look what showed up on my doorstep this afternoon, After FedEx delivering to the wrong address for the 2nd or 3rd time.
I have some good neighbors that will see that miss-delivered packages and mail get to the correct address. It's happened to
almost every one of us on this circle.
Anyway I got the two Rough Ryder Reserve knives I ordered from SMKW.
They come wrapped in a microfiber cleaning cloth, inside a tin container, and inside a box.
The 1st is the Rough Ryder Reserve Kayak, a variation of he traditional canoe.
The next one is the Rough Ryder Reserve Swell Center Whittler. That sucker is a heaver knife!
Both knives appear to be very solid, well made knives. Everything is flush, seams are all a perfect match and the blades are tight and very sharp.

It would be a front row center display, along with the original box.

You forgot to mention the other RRR packaging contents: "Rubber band, Wax paper, Foam inserts and "Silica Gel."
Unwrapping the RRR series knives is similar to disassembling a "Russian Nesting Doll"
I received my 3 RRR knives a couple days ago.
I am in total agreement of your opinions on this new RRR series and well worth the few extra Dollars above the Rough Ryder norm.
SMKW states that there will be more knives added in the RRR series in the near future.
Perhaps in a "Bone Stag," Or maybe retain the same existing covers to keep them more visually in line?
What are your opinions?

Thanks guys, that Rail Splitter is one I am very inclined to keep. I always feel bad when my wife asks me if it’s one to sell or keep and I say keep. I know she is thinking why the heck does he need so many knives? This one is so special that it will he hard to let go.
I would like to know a bit more about these RRR knives. I suppose the best way to find out is to order one.

Looks like they've stepped up there game big time, guess there trying to compete direct against case now (good or bad, just what I seedlr110 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 15, 2020 8:14 pm Well look what showed up on my doorstep this afternoon, After FedEx delivering to the wrong address for the 2nd or 3rd time.

Thank you Willy and Garry. I agree with you Garry it is a 12. This one was just screaming at me to buy it. Honestly it’s as nice or better than any GEC or Northwoods knife I have, it’s certainly in the same league.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Here's a recent pick up.
This a great AAPK knife. Single blade and nice and thin. In fact the pile side of this one is slightly concave to make it more pocket friendly, light and easy to handle. It's really nice. I may just carry this one.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Finally received this one late yesterday. A Camillus 72 late production Swell Center Whittler. Has the Camillus late production double line tang stamp and the same stamp on the shield. Black bone handles and I don't believe has been used. Blades are tight, great snap, don't appear to have been sharpened and inside the blade wells are very clean. Does have a couple of small spots on the blades and on the springs. But a great addition to my Camillus 72 family.

Appreciate it Jerry. Here lately (with my luck anyway) any 72's in this good of shape don't show up very often.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 10:32 pm Congratulations Smitty. Those don't show up very often.
