Re: It's In The Mail
Seller photos were pretty bad, but they had good feedback, and these knives were cheap--$20 for the pair. I figured at the least, these would be great users. Both of these are linerlock Schrades--well, one is a Craftsman that is Sears' version of the 194OT.
Sears Craftsman USA 95074. I figure this is the perfect EDC for me, one blade, linerlock, carbon steel. And, at a price I could afford.
Failed to notice tip was busted off the 18OT Mighty Mite. However, I think this is a good basis for a Wharncliffe reprofiling. Gonna try it myself. Wharncliffe is a great way to get a lot out of a small knife. I feel, however, I can say I got the knife for free, given what a 194OT or even the Craftsman variant goes for these days.

I've always like the 1940T and variations. Lot of good use left in those. Let us know how the re-profile turns out.cody6268 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 11:11 pm Seller photos were pretty bad, but they had good feedback, and these knives were cheap--$20 for the pair. Papa Bones wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 5:12 pm I received notification that this was in the mail. A rare Camillus Three Blade Stockman.O.K. that's the way it was listed, but we all know it's a Camillus 72 pattern Whittler. Appears to have very little use. It is a late Camillus with the double line tang stamp with the double line Camillus stamped shield. I had saved this in my saved auction list, but I have to thank Floyd aka:doggleg for looking out for me. He had sent me a message advising me about it. Looking forward to getting it for inspection. Another addition to my Camillus 72 family.

Re: It's In The Mail
I found out that my mom is going to mail us some POP-TARTS & cookies for Christmas.
Along with some patriotic fabrics for making knife slips.
So before she goes to the post office, I hurried up & made my first ever Shepherd Hills Cutlery purchase.
These are on their way to her house so they can catch a lift to Germany.
Medium Stockman with ebony scales & slanted bolster.
Two pins for putting onto a showcase. And two patches.
Wonder if I can fold one of those patches in the middle, sew it together up to about where the ® is, & turn it into a knife slip.
Thanks for looking!

Sitting here in the deer blind with nothing moving at all. In my frustration I PULLED THE TRIGGER (pun intended) in this old loomfixer.
