Colonel, at only 10 weeks your pup's eyes are revealing high intelligence to me.

Willy, I think that one of the primary reasons we are blessed with our pets is to place before us an example of how we ought to live, i.e, with simplicity, trust, and frequent bursts of joy.

Thanks guys. He’s become a real special pup already for sure. He’s crazy smart and acts like a much older pup.

Big H I’ve been real careful with him around Annie. I don’t let him down when she’s around. Her and the two Great Pyrenees who run with the goats are coexisting but I bet she wouldn’t take kindly to Taco “herding” her.

Fine looking brood SK.
The biggest pita around here is keeping the varmints out of them and getting rid of the eggs. My sweet niece 💕 brought me 7 dozen last week, but the boss,I and sissy will take care of them. ::tu:: ::handshake::

No problem with night time varmints , only day time problems are the hawks but luckily haven’t lost any yet , they just swoop down and scare them to death lol , had a critter proof coop made and as soon as the sun goes down we lock them up for the night .
We get around 12 eggs a day but they sell faster than we can keep them in stock .
Added a picture when they were babies checking out their new perch .

Hey Mike, great looking chicken coop! ::tu:: I'm a big fan of chickens & turkeys. ::nod:: I had chickens & turkeys as a child & also had chickens again later here in Germany. Although I don't have any right now, I may get a few as a hobby when I no longer have to go to work every day in 20 years or so. :D

Fine looking coop! My coop isn’t as fancy, but we do love our fresh eggs. I have mine down at the barn and they get to free range a lot. The Great Pyrenees dogs that run with the goats keep most of the critters at bay so far.

I prefer farm fresh eggs.. I just lost my neighbor this spring that had 70/80 layers for years... His wife has a beauty salon in the basement of the house and she sold them out of there he also gave many way to neighbors and friends... He and I always horse traded for eggs..a fine young couple bought the farm next to me a few years ago and they're going to get layers next year to replace his...

Layla just had to be outside with me tonight... I was doing some stuff after dark outside and it's very chilly out.. so she's hanging out on the buggy listening to the radio with my sweatshirt on her.. poor dog was cold!!😁

Griffin likes to lay on my desk while I work on the computer and watch TV, but now he wants to

I don't technically have a pet. But I do have a Grandpuppy. My daughter lives next door to me and has a CheWeenie named Bella. Anytime she is out walking her, she usually tries to head to my house. She knows Paw Paw has treats. My daughter works so a lot of days I will go get her during the day to walk her. But just like my grandyoungin's........I don't spoil her at all.  ::super_happy:: The second picture is usually her position when we are in my recliner.
