Its a strange experience Willy, but when I pick up this knife I actually feel kind of a sense of comfort. Can't really explain it.

QS, don’t think it strange , can relate. It’s ironic cause it happens to me with a EO as well . When my hand feels the old bone and slide it in my pocket there’s a connection of sorts, or maybe am getting old and sentimental. Ripster, jwwood, Willy, Tom: thank you for all your comments. Its reassuring to know that others have the same experience which indicates I am probably not yet going ga-ga.

Thank you, Sir! I love the jigging on the Clauss jack, very sweet looking!

Thanks, I like the double bomb shield too, but the knife was made by Tony Bose, one of the most influential slip joint makers alive, if you don't know of him, I would suggest looking him up.

I don't have any of his customs, but I do have some of his Case collaborations, like the Tribal Lock, Teardrop and these Sowbellies.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Working around the house with my hand forged tomahawk/bearded Viking axe and Enzo fixed blade. I got the axe in Hungary while on a trip on a trip. I was back-packing around Europe a few years ago and met a black smith in Buda Pest and went to his forged and got to watch him forge some pieces and bought this axe from him. Then I carried in for about 4 weeks all over the damn place.
The lesson I learned was buy the stuff at the END of the trip....
