This past week I learned that a fella that I now call a dear friend was going to be in the area picking up a knife display case he bought on ebay. I asked if we could meet for dinner and he agreed. Unfortunately the day we were to meet was bad for me and my work. He actually rescheduled his day for me. The amazing part was, he drove many many hours to pick up the case and then out of his way to meet me. We talked for hours about knives and such over a great dinner. If you even get to meet Galvanic1882 then please do as Mike and his wife are wonderful people and extremely knowledgable. If you read my last article in knife world magazine you will see that some of the photos were of his collection as well as mine. knife people are generally wonderful and honest. Make arrangements to meet some yourselves. I hope to meet each and every one of you someday.
