Went back to the Antique store I visited to get one more. A Alfred Williams Sailor's knife with awesome stag. Then I saw two more I'll have to go back for when I can afford to blow more money.____Dave

Thanks guys. There are a couple more at the store I want but they will have to wait for the budget to catch up. It's Sunday afternoon and I went back to the antique shop planning to purchase one or both of the two knives I was contemplating yesterday. They are both Coats custom Saddlehorns, one tan bone and one dark brown bone, two blade large jacks. I know my friend Dave paid a lot for each on them, and they are selling them for $225 each. I believe that was about half of what Dave paid for them. When I looked closely at them, the dark brown knife had some play on one blade and hit the frame when I closed it. The tan one had a little play on one blade. That was enough to convince me to pass on them. I did pick up this KA-BAR slot knife for about $125 and went home happy.____Dave

Went by a local Antique / Consignment shop in my area today. Usually they don't have much in knives, either well worn or newer knives. But today I ran across this and decided to get it and add it to my appaloosa bone knives. A 1981 Case XX A6208 Half Whittler. Good snap on all blades and no wobble. Have to excuse my photo skills, it was cloudy out and natural light photos didn't turn out well so these are inside shots.
