Thanks, woodwalker. I found those tags near the entrance of an abandoned coal mine during an exploring trip with my coal miner grandfather, so altogether this combo has a lot of mojo for me.

Nice Anzas! I had the Anza bug a few years ago and I ended up with about a dozen of 'em, my favorites being the small Model: 136 and a big BODDINGTON type blade.

Thanx Topdog for deer hunt they are fast becoming my favorite,D2 is great but I still like Buck 118 the best.

Marco and Iman, thank you so much for your comments. I'm very impressed with the quality of these Japanese knives. They would make for fine edc. The only drawback being that if they were going to receive frequent, heavy, use the scrim would eventually fade I presume.
