Guys,
In this last batch of knives I got this knife with a strange looking blade release.
Anyone ever see such an odd looking device? Any clue as to who might have made it?

Ray! Similar knives with the same release are all over the Chinese sites, so I'd say, "Made in China", perhaps by Columbia!

Re: Strange Blade Release
Thanks and I am not too surprised at that. When I saw the handles my thought process immediately went to Paki. The release just seemed too complicated for a cheap knife.
Appreciate the info,

You cannot judge quality of Chinese made knives based on price. Some of the lowest priced ones are of quite good quality, better than ones that cost more.
