Another old knife I'm having trouble identifying

I bought this one yesterday from the same flea market guy that had the Art Knife Co. knife. He always has oldies from the 30's and 40's. Has anyone seen this stamp before? I have ask several collectors and no one has a clue.
It seems like a well made knife with half stops and still has some snap.

I believe your knife was made by Valley Forge Cutlery, Newark, NJ, between 1916 & 1950.( according to Goins)

IMO VF in a circle was mfg brand for Boker 1899-1950.

If you were to guess on the date...what would be your guess. I thought it looked like 1930's or older.

Vallry Forge was a brand used by Boker as others have indicated. My understanding of the genesis of this brand is as follows. Boker did all of their manufacturing in Solingen and exported a lot of cutlery to the US circa late 1800's. Then the McKinley tarriffs hit and put imported cutlery at a big disadvantage. So Boker bought out the existing Valley Forge Cutlery Co in Newark, NJ and that became their manufacturing arm in the USA.....so they used both brands, VF and Boker, until about WWII and then retooling after WWII only the Boker brand was used.

That does look like a later one; but it actually appears to me that the blades dont fit the frame properly - could be a reblade? Hard to tell from the pics.

SUPER information, This is the kind of stuff that just get me going with collecting knives. I throughly enjoy the historical part of collecting old knives.
