Camillus 72 Clones

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Thought I would post this in case anyone is interested in bidding. A Shcrade 863 with box. Supposed to be like new. Although in one photo it does seem to have a crack at one of the center spring pin. I am figuring from age and shrinkage of the delrin?

This morning I've added this CAMILLUS 72 variation to my collection. It's an ULSTER 9630, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. I had just barely gotten over the shock and awe of seeing doglegg's, 3-spring, CAMILLUS 72 and then, VERY luckily, I stumbled upon this pocket knife. It was a "New Listing" that had just come on-line, it was "buy it now" and also "best offer." Normally I would've made an offer, but I didn't want to chance it. I pounced on it and bought it. These are not impossible to find, just hard to find. That's another variation off my list. It is as close to being in Mint condition as it can be. I took some pictures and here it is.
The last 4 pictures are the seller's pictures. I think they show the knife quite nicely.

I'm very proud to show my newest addition to my Camillus 72 Clone family. I got bombed today by Jerryd6318. O.K. I knew it was coming because Jerry messaged me and asked for my address. But it does not lessen the impact of gratitude and appreciation I feel. This is what makes AAPK such a great place. The friendship and the camaraderie that we have here. And I feel fortunate and blessed to be a part of it.

An Ulster 63 Swell Center Whittler. Tight blades with no wobble and great snap. Blades are full, & still have some of the original luster. It is my second Ulster 63 and the best condition 63 in my collection. All I've done is is wipe it down with a Case soft leather chammie. Again, Thanks Jerry.

Today I'm adding this CAMILLUS 72 variation to my collection. It is a CAMILLUS 1047, 3 blade, swelled center, white handles, 3 5/8" closed, Scout "whittler" pocket knife. This is my first and only (so far) "1047" with white handles. There are NO CRACKS of any size, anywhere on the handles. It did need some very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
