R&T, lovely terrain and photos. Thank you very much. What is the general location of this hike?

Brice creek Oregon on the trail up to Trestle Creek falls.

The falls are in a little canyon that's very intense.

I did. Not bad, bitter, but not like store oranges. Smaller. Going back in a week to see if they change/ripen more.

Love finding wild fruit when I'm out. Found a peach tree on an old homestead, not truly wild since peaches aren't native here but some old variety, small, white and tart.

Thanks for the compliments on the pictures.

Thanks!
Someone was starting a very smoky campfire which made a really cool effect. That is Alderwood park north of Eugene. I spent 20 years up in Alaska and often people say that it's more beautiful up there. Nope. It's grander but Oregon, Virginia, Montana and a few other states are more beautiful than Alaska. The parts of Oregon I've come to love most are actually all in Lane county.

Really cool picture!
Looks like chicken-of-the-woods, spent a bit of time living on a remote island in AK, we used chicken-otw, brown velvets and angel wings quite a bit along with rice, kelp and salmon.
