Does anyone know what the shield is on the Tidioute 33 conductor that came out recently? It looks somewhat like the "Banner" shield on the GEC list, except the banner shield is raised to points in the center, and the Conductor shield is concave in the center. It's like a hot dog / bowtie merger with more length.
It it not the same as any on their list from the website, and I was wondering if this shield is a one-off, or if it has a name?
Or if it has been used before on GEC knives and I have just never seen it?
Thanks.

It’s a gimp shield. Off the top of my head I can’t think of another GEC that used it.

Very interesting, thank you for that information. I had not heard of a gimp shield before, but once named I've found a few references and examples.
