Thanks! I'm more of a carrier than a user I'm afraid. I use my knives whenever necessary but unfortunately, it's not necessary very often. I once told someone that I use my pocket knife to cut something about as often as I use my driver's license for identification. That's an exaggeration but it's not far from the truth.

I don't hunt or fish or anything like that and I'm a city boy by nature. My EDC rides in a pocket by itself with no other items. That combined with the fact that I rarely get a chance to use my knives helps keep the new appearance for a long time.

That photo was taken yesterday. The knife has seen a minimum of 10 months pocket time and I've never polished it.

My Case XX 6344 today. I like this knife. You cant even tell it's in your pocket. The 44 pattern is growing on me! :) Bought this one at an Antique store about a year ago and it keeps finding it's way in my pocket.

Quick Steel wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2020 2:14 pm bighomer, kindly let us know how that works out for you. I've had to abandon even small knives from Federal facilities. And congratulations on being a member of a storied unit, The Big Red One. That's one of the units our Marines secretly admire, tho they'd never admit it.
They've never checked me at the VA, but they have no weapons signs posted at several locations. Better safe than sorry I'm thinking. ::handshake::
Thanks it's a storied division, a lot of history. ::tu::

Thanks, Ivoryman. I can say the same for the two classics you’ve posted today. Great bone and patina on that jack, and the 61OT is a favorite of mine.

Toted one of my off brands.

This Schrade Walden 804 with peach seed bone needed some education so I packed it to work with me today.

I like that! I had a Henckles 4 blade stockman once and it was an awesome knife.

Thanks! I have always wanted to handle a Thor, Fallkniven knives are great.

Snow melted off, but more to come. Spending the day with my ladies, my personnel carry with me today. Mike and I designed this knife, forged DHIII W2 with hamon and high polish, I had Mike Sakmar forge the 1/4 in thick mokume gane, Mike Craddock forged the "explosion" damascus for the butt cap and guard. Nice piece of Walrus ivory. Larry Parsons made the sheath for me.

Nice EDCs all. Getting ready for Bow Hunting with bro’s . Will carry one and a extra for little brother as he’s known for not being prepared, and leave one in pick up.
Have a great Friday and stay safe out there.
