Just wanted to let you guys (and gals) know, the prospect of a forum knife by Canal Street Cutlery is being bandied about on the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades forum at Blade Forums. I'd imagine the more people interested, the more likely it is to happen, and the better the price will be. One of the moderators has stepped up to guage interest and organize the effort. In any case, if anyone here is interested, here is the link:

Hey Jim:

At the Schrade Collector's forum at bfc, we're now getting our second annual forum knife. The first (2005) was a rather amaturish offering, using an all stainless 626 as the platform. Engraved on one side: UNCLE HENRY'S LOST SOULS (our unofficial name for ourselves( and the other: SCHRADE FORUM @ BFC 2005. It had an issue of 29 knives.
But this year we really hit one out of the park, getting famous Schrade artist Frank Giorgianni to HAND scrimshaw each side of a plain ivory delrin Schrade (USA, of course) stockman, as well as etching two of the blades. We're all rather proud of our 2006 year knives.
I've been a member of organized local knife clubs for about 15 years. I've never gotten an annual club knife from either of them. Funny, is it not, how a 'virtual' web based club (forum) and it's members, means much more to me, enough to part with a little cash for something to link us all together, to represent the comradery and friendship.

Here is another view of the 2006 Schrade forum knife...you can still get in on one for $80, shipped to you. I assure you it is SWEET. Again, it is hand scrimmed...not a print.
