Skip, the game is identify the maker of the knife, not “what’s it say on the tang stamp”. Just saying. I’m glad you’re playing the game but think you’re making this harder than it needs to be.

Anybody up for a game? I think we may have done something like this before, but as I was going through some knives tonight, I found an interesting one.
So pretty simple, share a pic or pics of a knife, (I guess we can show the blades too, just not the stamp), then you have to guess the maker. The first person to get it right gets to share the next mystery knife. (Only one mystery knife at a time please)
For now, let's keep it to fairly well known makers, no one-offs or obscure makers. If the guesses aren't getting anywhere, then hints are cool.
I'll get things started with this one. It's a whittler pattern. It has a rimmed liner, with what looks like some kind of gum fuddy synthetic material inset. The main was a bit tipped and reshaped, so there's nothing special about the blade.
