EDC - Lockback

Does anyone have any experience with the Al Mar Osprey or Hawk? I am looking for a quality lockback which is around 3 inches closed. I am in a suit most of the day and am limited as to what I can carry.

Any recommendations are appreciated. I am looking at a $100 limit.

welcome/ never had one but rhey both look like nice knives. 1 aus-8 steel and several handle materials. sheeple friendly.

A friend of mine had a small Al Mar, maybe an Osprey. It was an amazing little knife.

You are welcome MC. The little Al Mars usually come with a small leather pouch so the don't get scratched around by loose change, etc.

I am lucky enough to have started collecting Al Mar early. My absolute favorite is the Hawk. Just the right pocket 3 1/4" closed size and available in many upgrade scales. Several blade styles and they are a mid lock design. In the past the first 200 units were serialized, very early pieces were marled both Seki and U.S.A.
Most Ospreys have a tail ring for a pocket chain, much like a "fob" knife, only much higher quality. Very small!(At least for my tastes).
Moki now produces much of the "bird" series for AMK. Quality has always been an Al Mar characteristic
