I just bought another Klaas. I think it's a Copperhead.
Didn't own any like this one yet but I will soon.
It's 3 3/4" closed.
Like you said bighomer, a fool & his money.

Very Nice Big Homer!!
Nice looking Copperhead Tom.

That reminds me; I need to get up with him about getting it done. One of those three I bought has a nasty spot where the handle somehow hit the belt at the Kutmaster factory.Ivoryman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:07 pmjerryd6818 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:36 pmDo get them rehandled. It's worth it.

Rightious looking bone Jerry. Another Jeffin special rocks.

Way to go Smitty.

Ok....I've got the R14D which is Delrin, I've got the R14 wood show knife coming, and know of a R14 with laminated wood handles similar to frost wood. I've also seen a Remington RE18293 that had black imitation stag delrin handles. Is the last one the one your talking about?New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 2:13 amWay to go Smitty.![]()
Another fantastic addition to your "72" variation collection.
Remember, there is a total of FOUR Remington variations of the "72."

Appreciate it. Have you seen this one?New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 2:44 amSmitty, here is a link to my four Remingtons.

Are you talking about the different colors and shades of colors in the handles? If you're not, forget about reading the rest of what I've written here. I draw the line at subtle nuances for classifying a pocket knife as a clone or variation of a CAMILLUS 72 or, as a clone or variation of itself. To me at least, the difference(s) should be quite noticeable. For example, tang stamps, shields, handle material, blade etching, etc. Not different shades of colors in wood handles.

I don't have the knife in hand, and I may order it to see. But I am wondering if they used the same method as frost wood handles, which is laminated. The other wood handles are a solid wood. Not sure of the type but looks like walnut, but just may be walnut stain. But I understand what your saying.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 3:40 amAre you talking about the different colors and shades of colors in the handles? But that's just me and my opinion.

Nice looking Copperhead Tom.I like the Copperhead pattern. I've got a couple in the KC, Tree Brand and Case. Back in the early 70's when I was in the Army, a lot of the guys I was stationed with carried that pattern.
Thanks my friend!

That's a beautiful knife bighomer! I like that wood inlay!

I used to have one of those AG Russells with the Philips head screwdriver. I like how the main blade is unlocked by pressing down on the secondary Wharncliffe blade.Montanaman wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 2:01 am Ordered this beauty from Mark(SSK), had my eye on it for some time. Just sold a load of my finest hogs, so I thought I would treat myself. Made in Japan for AG Russell in the early 1990's, locking main blade, very nice stag IMO. Thanks Mark!

Really nice! I'm a big fan of that blue/black Leek! Mine's the boring old silver one.
