Old Crafty
Received this 3 blade Craftsman #9548 from father in law. Don’t know who made these for Craftsman and haven’t seen a “Old Crafty” before. It seems like a Schrade with swinden style bolsters . Not sure ,any help would be great.thanks

Re: Old Crafty
I think all the "Old Crafty" knives patterned after Old Timer are Schrades. That being said, I don't know why I don't own one yet. Most USA-made Craftsman knives and multitools are Schrade or Camillus.

Your Old Crafty is a Schrade, looks to be same as the 34OT.

Re: Old Crafty
Sears started selling Delrin Old Timers in 1963 or 64. The first knives had Craftsman tang stamps with Old Timer shields. The Old Crafty branding wasn't introduced until 1966. As Roland said, that's a 34OT. You can also find Old Crafty 8OTs and 108OTs. The best (my opinion) Craftsman Old Timer was the 2OT.
