Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Been carrying old Jackknives the last couple of days, today this Camillus #13. Still in great physical condition despite much age - great W&T and no wobble - the most important things to me in a pocketknife. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Sweet carries fellows. Iman and OH that is a contrast in carries. But both cut. Like them both.

Felt like carrying some bone handled today . Grabbed my favorite little Catt. And a 2014 GEC single blade lock back.

I have never been a big Kershaw fan, but this one blade Culpepper is an excellent knife.
At 4.1" closed and a 3.2" blade it fits and feels perfect in my hand. Until something
better comes along, this is the knife that will be in my jean pocket.
Did that sound like a commercial spot for Kershaw?

The 61ot was made from 1976-1990. Great pattern and yes they are underrated. The old bone 8613’s and 861’s (which are the predecessors of the 61ot) are really nice.
I have been carrying the 856 most of the time lately but today I am also carrying the gec 81 stockman.

You’re welcome.
Looks like a good 895 you have there. Good bones. That’s most likely a 1950’s knife.

This nice old Queen Barlow spoke to me this morning. Wonderful walk and talk. Tight lockup and Japanese level runup.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nice Barlow, never seen one with the maker marks below the Rogers name on bolster. Not sure if” makers mark “ is correct wording ,but is marking the bolster ,with those two marks ,normal for that knife.
Thank you Sir, have a good one down there my friend
