Great looking kmife!! quote=terryl308 post_id=841872 time=1598012909 user_id=16456]
Just got this "skinny knife" done, it has Himilayan Rams horn for a handle, I like it better than the US produced sheep horn because of it's dark color and it is a lot more stable. Cost is a little more but worth it I think. thanks for looking. The knife is about 10" long and made out of O-1. Terry

Cool knife Terry, I just finished my first knife build. I based it off of pictures i’ve seen of mid-1800’s English Bowie knives.
10-3/4” 1095, nickel silver, and elk antler that would have been a dog’s chew toy that I purchased from petsmart.
St. John Chapter 1

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God...

Wow dude!
I don't think you could get any better, for a first time build.
Well done .
bigbore, re, your "pocket knives"
i assume you have sheaths for these ? do you actually carry one of these in your back ? pocket instead of a folding knife ?
