Collector Knives GEC 35 reservations are closed. I still can't decide if I really want to buy that silly looking contraption.

I have a jigged bone pre ordered. I really like the 35 frame and think I can use the comb for fly tying.

I will try to get one in Ebony just to add it to the collection, but honestly if I get skunked on all of these, it will not bother me. I still don’t see the attraction. Does this knife come apart like a hobo knife? If not, tell me please how do you use the fork and knife together? Also, isn’t it dangerous to comb my hair w/ the knife extended while I am eating? I can see lots of lawsuits over these. I hope GEC has their liability insurance paid up.

Guess what was in today's mail, just in time for Oktoberfest too. πŸŽ‰πŸ»πŸŒ

Arrived well oiled, had to wipe off some excess. Really cool design, kudos to whomever can up with this. ::tu:: My BRR Tool has decent snap, I can see how it could be an issue since the spring is so thin. I love the Micarta color they chose, I think it fits this knife well. But given the 3 choices, I wish I could have snagged one in Ebony, I think it would be striking.

Wish I would have had this knife for yesterday's lunch!
