Cleaning, greasing, and oiling reels; tying on new mono leaders, putting them back on rods. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

A lot of stuff, mostly opening packaging. I didn't do much photo taking then.
This Hot Wheels display came in three very large, and thick cardboard boxes. The regular Amazon shipping box, Mattel's shipping carton, and then the regular retail packaging.
That resulted in a pile of cardboard that I had to cut up before I got rid of it. And that didn't count the smaller box some stuff from SMKW came in that I needed to get rid of. Used the Outdoor Edge Razor Lite EDC, since the blades are designed to easily be replaceable, and sort of disposable. Cutting four boxes down to a size that fit in the burning barrel will mean I'll likely end up need to sharpen up this blade, and/or go to a new one New blades are less than $2 each, so it's not that big a deal.
\
Used a scrap of cardboard and my Moore Maker Double Lockback trapper to make a stand for an old badge, for the Bergen County, NJ Sheriff's Office. I don't even know where my Great-Granddad got it. We have no relatives in New Jersey, and I don't think he knew anyone who lived there. And not related, but he knew Sgt. Alvin York very well, and was good friends with him.

Mundane, every day tasks -
Opened a few delivery packages, opened some packages of drip irrigation emitters, opened a bag of potting soil and 4 bags of mulch, harvested okra and squash, cut a chunk of fuel line for a lawn mower, quartered some Li jujube fruit with my Pro-Tech TR4.
Used two 3/4 Kabar shorties to squash about a dozen squash bugs.
Spread some butter and cut lasagna in the pan with a dinner knife, cut a stick of butter with a paring knife.

Did a little whittling out on the carport hanging out with the boys.
My youngest boy (who has special needs) did his first solo whittling with my old half wore out XX 6375. His eyes lit up and he said, “I like this one. When I get big I’m gonna have a hundred of these!” lol. He has good taste.

All round very productive day of knife work all, enjoy hearing the regular side of knife life
.
Me, just used my supertool today, to help clean up that little rapala fillet knife (the one up for sale), a little bit. Other then that, just bumming round here on fibro farm/fcaa/home. Hopefully tomorrow will be a more productive day, long day on the swather planned.

Cut 'em out, spay paint them flat black, put 'em out on the church lawn, and pray they keep the geese away.
Hate walking to church having to avoid goose poop.

Mine usually has a faint hint of Ballistol! Makes everything taste better.
