Loose Arrow, that's a looker right there! Way too fancy for me but it sure looks good. What is that is said about the MOP handles? You can see the fire in them. I believe you have captured that in the center picture.

Loose Arrow, that Anglo Saxon Whittler is beautiful. Very sleek looking. Bulldog has some amazing pearl handles.
I got in this Viper today. I got the smaller one a few days ago and have it listed for sale, but I am hesitating about selling it. Just like I am struggling about this bigger one. The bigger one is called Evolution. It has rams horn handles and the bolsters are hammered titanium. The smaller one is also ram’s horn. It’s a liner lock and the bigger one is a lock back.

A photo like the one I took would have made me face stiffer competition. It had photos good enough to see that it wasn't the Oyster shell celluloid but it still didn't draw the crowd in.

Great price, for a lovely Bulldog, you done good in me book LA
. Dad has the kissing cousin to it, the 2004 anniversary edition, and it's one of my all time favorite patterns. He also has the German Eye equivalent, in his collection, not sure of the year...
Simply amazing folders Mark, would hate to move them on too.
2 awesome knives you got there Tom, well worth the wait in me bookie.
And incredible Bulldog you got there Gary. We both know how rare, and desirable they are. Well done

cody6268 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 4:08 pm Nice set. Not only is it complete, it's unused, and even has the original dated shipping carton! I see a bunch of different mining-related ad knives around here. In fact, it's what I focus on. I think Granddad may have one for Penn Machine--most of his are for Curtis bearings, however. Eccles, WV isn't that far off from here. They really knew how to do exchangeable blade knives back then....
Sorry, I guess I missed reading your helpful reply. Feel free to message me if you'd like to possibly acquire it for your collection. We can work something out I'm sure.

LA you have a great Whittler there. I have a couple of those Anglo Saxons and like yours they are some of the most impressive manufactured knives available. Your MOP is the invariably excellent BD quality.
Mark, Your latest Viper is like a punch to the stomach. Not a very nice analogy but my goodness. Hammered titanium for heaven's sake. An amazing piece.

Garry, I know what you mean. The Italians make fine knives like they make fine sports cars, elegant. I have had my eye on this knife for years from the A.G. Russell catalog. That’s where I discovered Viper in the first place. A.G. still offers both these knives in their catalog and online. I have never been disappointed w/ any Viper knife I have owned.
