Any ideas on this knife I handled ??

Post by lenny357 »

I went to a show recently and saw a knife there I was very impressed with and am now on the hunt for here’s some info on what I remember. ::doh::

Manufacture; Queen
Handle material; Buffalo Horn with a pearl inlayed shield
Single Blade Lock Back
About 4.5 inches long??
Very smooth action
Price range $70 to $100

Any ideas on what it was or where I could find one, I ushally don’t post like this but just can’t seem to get her out of my mind. Most of all I just wanted to know how many of these were made and some info.

Lenny, That sounds like the Series 12 Lockback Hunter, with the mother of pearl shield. Item number #14113L. You could check with Clarence Risner, but they are probably all gone by now.
RIP Johnnie Rotten

So far, so good...So What!!

I'm sure thats a S&M series 12 knife too. I have one of the equal end whittlers from that series. If you can buy it from the lower end of the range you show I'd grab it up. Beautiful knives.
Looking for Winchester .270 Cartridge Series knives

Mike !! Thats it thank you this has been killing me. It it kind of like the Schatt & Morgan Mountain Man? I really like the Buffolo Horn / pearl shield and the action was so slick. Very nice knife. Ya I could have got it for $65 at the show, ment to go back for it just forgot
Thank you and again nice knife site Mike!
