Angle Guide wedges

This actually were a pop up ad on my phone. Thought I would share if anyone is interested. I haven't seen them before and haven't tried them.

Haven’t seen that specific brand but it’s an old, old concept. And it works! That looks like it should be an inexpensive clever version. Several present-day sharpening systems utilize the same concept. The Work Sharp Guided Sharpening System comes with interchangeable angle guides which snap in place, held by magnets. If you don’t like the angles supplied with the kit, optional different angles are available.

Here’s an old Robeson branded “Sharp Stik” sharpening stone mounted in a piece of wood having integral angle guides. Not sure of its age but it’s got to be 60+ years old.

That is easy. I have made several out of a block of balsa wood, marked the angles i require with a protractor on the side of the wood, and cut with a small saw. You only need them to give you the angle, so balsa wood is fine and easy to cut.

I had the same problem. Google was tracking me, and sending ads for stuff I had looked up. I installed DuckDuckGo as my browser, set it to be my primary browser and deleted or disabled every other browser. Problem solved!

I do not know about cell phones but on my laptop and desk top I went into the settings and checked. "block third party cookies." Chrome and Microsoft Edge, not looked at Firefox. Took care of a lot of are you still interested ads.
