I have gotten to the point that I don't sand some woods as fine as I do others because they will show pits or voids.
Bad enough to have something like that happen with wood that is no where as expensive as elephant ivory!
The bright side is that it no doubt looks better in person than in the pics.
It seems to me that the pics often make the flaws stand out. I will take pics to look for flaws I think may be there but that I can't find with the un assisted eyeballs.
Nice work though!
I can't wait to see that one with the blue liner added.
