David, those are blade hinge pins, not handle pins, per se.

I had a knife with an outer frame like that ,it was a Pine Knot.

Okay, last hint. Based on the tang stamp, I would say this knife is no later than 1940.

If nobody gets it, I'll reveal it. I want this game to move along so we can see some other knives!
