I like the stories behind our knives as much as the knives themselves! You cleaned that old Boker nicely!Ripster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 2:06 pmThanks, little story on the Barlow, good friend Lost it years ago, found it in belly pan of old tractor they were scrapping out. Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Here is a story behind this old 1930's Ulster. I found this old knife in a ziplock bag full of broken junk. I paid 5 bucks for the whole bag of beat up, broke up knives because I seen this old Ulster in there. It was missing the bone on the pile side. No shield. The main was wore down to a nub. I seen the beauty it could become so I sent it to Ed Landers, also a member here on AAPK and he put another main on for me and put a shield on and put bone on the pile side and made it into the knife it is now. That's why I say stories on are knives are as cool as the knives themselves. Have a great day!Ripster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 2:06 pmThanks, little story on the Barlow, good friend Lost it years ago, found it in belly pan of old tractor they were scrapping out. Piddling outside and cleaning the shop. This is what I got on me.

Really nice knives everyone!
I picked this up at a local antique shop for $10... cleaned it up a little bit and sharpened it. Slid it right into my pocket tonight..

Cool knife and I like your tree stump marking, gard. What's it pointing to, if you don't mind me asking?
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
