Camillus 72 Clones

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Thanks Skip, that is what first caught my eye. I think I will slow down on the 9494's. Waiting for that York or Lamplough or Moor'sman feed to come along. ::handshake::

VERY good looking knife Smitty. ::tu:: However, it is NOT a CAMILLUS 72 clone or variation. It has the wrong blade configuration. Just look at the pictures of the other posted clones/variations and you'll see what I mean.

Today I'm adding these three knives to my CAMILLUS 72 variation collection. First up, another ULSTER 63, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. Next is a MADE IN U.S.A., 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. Last is an OLSEN (over) H.C.MI.,U.S.A. (over) 25, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. All three knives received some degree of cleaning. I took some pictures and here are the knives.

Got this one in earlier in the week. A United Cutlery Rigid RG70. Not positive if it's a 1997 but that is the date I found on the paperwork in the box.

Today I added this knife to my CAMILLUS 72 variation collection. It's another POWR-KRAFT 84-11, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. It required some cleaning and it received some cleaning. I took a few pictures and here it is.
