Resistance is futile...no doubt about it; you really do need to get an 07W. ::nod::

If you do eBay, here's a 2020 6.5207W Bonestag that's currently up for auction:

Put that monkey back in his cage. I have a 6.5 07W Bonestag. It doesn't need to be a 2020.
Yeah, yeah. I know that was directed at JP and you weren't talkin' to me. I'm just sayin'.

BUT, that said. Everyone needs a 6.5 Bonestag 07W.

All I see are glued shields. I don't think they've pinned in a long time.

Finally received the Battle Axe from ~Q~. What a beauty.

One more John. It's been on order since February and it's finally on it's way. It's in Palatine now, so "should" be delivered tomorrow. ::pray:: I've had a spot cleared for it for the last 5 months so as you can probably tell, I'm on one cheek and then the other, waiting "patiently".

So that's why they put the dots on the band. Thanks for enlightening me.

You really should get yourself one ~Q~. They are such a striking knife in person.

Monkey see, monkey do...and since jerryd showed his, I'll show my new Rough Ryder VG-10 Mini-T.
I'm not a fan of RR, but this one is impressive; a very nice little knife easily worth twice the price. I am very pleased with it. :D

Q, that's a pleasant looking knife. ::tu:: The bolster is different but doesn't turn me off like some patterns.
Not a big RR fan either but can't forget the trapper someone sent my anonymously that worked so well right out of the box!

Yup...that's one thing I will say about the Roughies, every single one I've had was slice-your-eyeballs-just-by-looking-at-it sharp right out of the box. Never had a complaint in that department.

I don't know what it is about them that usually doesn't appeal to me...some intangible thing that I can't quite define; they just don't "feel right" to me (like a Case or Queen). I know a lot of folks like the low price of RR, but cost alone has never been much of a deciding factor to me (proven by the number of knives I own that I vastly overpaid for).

Truth be told, I only bought this little VG-10 number for purely cosmetic reasons (I like the retro art deco style), but when I got it in hand I must confess I was pleasantly surprised with the quality "feel" of it. Maybe it's because of the VG-10 steel. ::shrug:: Whatever it is, I'm glad I got it. It's the first RR I feel comfortable recommending. ::tu::

I'm glad it ended up pleasing you ~Q~. I was afraid it would fall flat on it's face. I'm very pleased with mine but then I've become over the past several years a bit more tolerant than I was and some are. ::shrug::

I see it's been a while since we've had a daily. It's hard for me to believe ~Q~ ran out of Mini-T's.

I'm still in the acquisition phase of this addiction so time to show the second Stag Mini-T that showed up here in the middle of this month. It was a steal and deal. I couldn't pass it up.
