Lets see some Wharncliffe's

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

I only have 3 knives of any type with Wharncliffe blades in my collection, and I suspect that these are not what you were expecting. All 3 were electricians, and I "wharncliffed" the screwdriver blades when I resto/modded them. And I see now that this is the Remington forum, so I probably am in the wrong place altogether. Oh well, here they are anyway. ::teary_eyes::

I feel like this was a gift from someone and for the life of me, can't remember who (don't have it recorded either). It's a slick little peckerwood.

Yes, I disassembled all 3 knives. I always do that when I put new scales on. It also makes it easier to thoroughly clean all the parts and is much easier if you are going to modify a blade.
