W.R. CASE & SONS 1905-1914 LARGE COKE STAMPED 61050.
IN AMER PRE GUIDE TO KNIVES & RAZORS PAGE 85 THE EXACT KNIVE SAYS 51050, VALUED $1300. COULD THIS KNIVE BE STAMPED 61050 BUT HAVE STAG HANDLES.

Im real new at collecting, don't know much.
Again this knive is stamped 61050.
This exact knife was used in Jim Sargents newest price guide and its listed as 51050.
Could be a simple typo, I don't know enough.
Also wondering how I could have got my hands on a knive valued at $1300.
Am I lucky or did I get taken for a ride.

Looks to me like it's been re-handled. Doesn't look at all like Case stag. ...CCBill...

Howdy malleny,

I'M going to have side with my good Texas friend CCBill on this matter, this Stag looks as if it was a re-handle job on the rear of this knife anyway, the Stag does look odd for Case Stag! Could you please show us the front side of the handle as well & maybe a few close ups in the pin areas?
