Corsi, I got you buddy. My item was bought on Monday morning the 6th last week, packed by the seller that Monday afternoon and delivered to his local PO on Tuesday about mid-day. It was listed by USPS as "in transit to the next facility" on the 8th, 9th,10th, and 11th. Now they don't even update or list where it is - lost, stolen, or forgotten is my guess (still shown as in transit on 7/11). I don't understand why USPS even issues a tracking number if they are not going to use it. I ordered some boat lift repair parts from Houston TX last week; entered the order on Tuesday, delivered to me on Saturday. I shipped a knife to IL this past Friday, it was delivered this past Monday. Items coming to me from the Midwest states and Lake states are the most screwed up - if your item goes through the Chicago or Detroit postal facilities you are screwed. OH

Well I picked up a 6.5207w the other day. So then I said to myself, "Self" and I knew it was me because I recognized my voice, You need a 07W that only has one blade. So I found this one and it should be here Thursday. A 2002 6107w in fire engine red.

It’s in the mail alright, Today is the 14th and they aren’t even bothering to update the USPS tracker anymore. Last knife before this one took ten days for a priority mail flat rate box to get here - USPS has always been squirrelly and indifferent, now they simply suck. OH

I'm under the impression they're just using COVID as an excuse to exacerbate their usual screw-ups. I'm having a lot of those missed updates a lot. My bank statement takes an extra week to show up (part of the reason I'm setting up an online banking account, even though I'm not wanting to) Recently, I had a package take two weeks to get here from SoCal. Sat around there a little, made it to the regional destination facility, got sent to the wrong post office, got sent to my post office (the one in WV that actually delivers the mail--the one for my ZIP in VA)does not, they did not deliver it ent it back to the origin facility where the seller was, then they sent it back; and it was finally delivered.

I ordered some stuff from the knife store in my town. Typically, when I order stuff from a local business (or local eBay seller), the USPS sends it to the regional facility in Charleston, WV, even if seller is in my town (instead of simply the proper PO) which results in delays. The knife store uses UPS. They simply just brought it to their facility (Princeton, WV) after pickup, and then delivered it the next day.

Nice one! I've been meaning to get into more traditional Whittler patterns with the two smaller blades on the other end of the knife for quite some time now.

It's my first try at the pattern. I usualy stick to small jacks but i'm a sucker for anything around a peanut in size regarless of the pattern

Two lots from an eBay seller. About $50 total.

Leatherman Fuse and Squirt P4. I've been wanting a Leatherman more for pocket EDC, but still has full-size pliers. The original, the PST, digs into my hands when putting force down on the pliers, and Rebar is a tiny bit too heavy for pocket EDC. Mini Tool doesn't havThe Fuse has a blade, drivers, scissors, and can/bottle opener. AKA, the stuff I use around the house, as well as out and about. Around the farm is when the saw, file, awl, and serrated blade of the Rebar come into play. The P4 is a good light-duty tool for lounging around the house, or as a watch pocket carry. Leatherman really made a mistake when they replaced it with the PS4. They replaced the handy awl and tiny screwdriver with lackluster scissors that break easily. After all--scissors that don't work well, vs. tools that fix that belt that is either too big or too small; or fix my glasses frames and open small battery compartments?

A bunch of mostly junk. I am keeping the high-vis "MADI One Flip Safety" knife, but for $7 more I could have gotten a new one. Looks like they are made by and are quite similar to whoever makes them for Milwaukee. Even after reading the product description on the manufacturer's website, the blunt tip I still don't get--from my Granddad and other coal miners, I know a tip is key to skin cable, and looking at the product photos--my first response is "You are doing it all wrong!". But, this, in my use, will basically be a folding strap cutter. One of my neighbors is a retired electrical engineer for Applachian Power, and another currently works as a lineman for Verizon--so I'll see what they have to say about stripping cable. The two Coast I know are decent knives. The rest will probably be seen again in the POS exchange. Which is partly why I bought the lot also.
