Klein 1550-24 hawkbill by George Ibberson. Among the lighter-weight hawkbills I own. I didn't even have a job where it was expressly required, and threw it in my pocket as I got out of bed. It is lightweight and very comfortable. Handle and lock release are oversized, for use with gloves. And it is one of the knvies I have that works very well, even with heavy insulated or leather rancher type gloves.

York Cutlery, Solingen Easy Opener. These were made in the 1960s, and sort of hit-or-miss in quality. The main blade on this one was chipped the whole length and had two big dings. I got one of the dings out, just leaving the huge one in the tip. It was in such bad shape--it took almost ten minutes with diamonds even to get a mostly straight edge. I also had to file down the kick, since the blades were already proud, and after that extensive sharpening work, stuck up even more. I figure this will give me a low-value beater that has real bone.

For today Western branded Camillus 716 and a Remington stockman I picked up from one of the AAPK stores awhile back. I don't carry the Remington often, it is just shy of 100 years old and came to me as sharp as a surgeons scalpel, all I ever do to it is light stropping.

Modified Case Kickstart Trapperlock is getting a lot of pocket time, and building a nice patina as well.

The S&M #5 looks an awful lot like Queen's #20. They are both 5" long.
Here is that S&M #5 with a Queen #20 below it. At the bottom is a Queen #112 1/2 which is 4 1/4" long. Whatever "other" is, I don't have one of those but I wish I did.
Looks like a 20, and those bone Queens are two more great toothpicks. I think I have the same 119½ as yours. ::hmm:: ::smirk:: Thanks for taking the cue to share more of the ladies. ::tu::

Outstanding lambsfoot, sir. ::tu:: Are those handles horn?

In what has turned into a week of my favorite Case bone styles (in no particular rational order), today I'm carrying smooth antique bone (ANTIQ on the boxes).
