I’ve been carrying this 1976 Case 2231 1/2 SAB Slick Black Jack for a while now. I bought it new and never used it because the backsprings like to have torn off my thumbnail. I guess I’ve toughened up since then. This is a real draft horse of a knife. Basically, if I can’t do it with this, I need a hatchet.

Got one just like it! Same year too. Love it! One hoss of a knife. It will do all you ask it to do. Watch the snap on that rascal!

Yeah, it snaps like a gator! It’s a great pocket knife.

Here are 4 of my 6 Weber’s lined up in the sunrise this morning still loaded with 54 lbs of butts and briskets. I’m only cooking on three but the 4 th works as a holder while stoking the fire on the others. And here’s also a pic from last night at midnight when I loaded them.
