Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Find this Canoe online. It needed a little cleaning, but I think it looks
pretty good now.

Nice pick up Chris with 055 Case. They are great pattern, don't know why they stopped producing them. About perfect size too, a nice match for the mini trapper. ::tu::

This forum is a dangerous place to be. First looking for a MM 5160LLB and finding a MM5100LL first, snatching it because I thought a 5160 wouldn't be a possibility , then finding a 5160. Now, I'm drooling and on the hunt for a 62055 in my got to have one category. ::dang::

Picked this up a couple weeks ago. It's a handful to say the least. No bigger than the full size Sod Buster Teresa gave me years back. Was pleasantly surprised with the half stops.

Old Sodbuster next to the newest pickup. The Sodbuster is very dear to me. Not only due to who gave it to me, but also due to the fact I carried it with me years ago and used it hard.

Picked up 2 more nice ones, another one arm Barlow and a 31 SAB slick black XX era. Both are close to mint, love the size and saber clip blade on the 31. One thing I noticed on the 31 is how half the detail on the shield is buffed away, that got me curious so I started looking at pictures of other slick black knives and a lot of them show varying degrees of this on the shields. I guess Case polished these knives after final assembly.

I seem to have developed a "man crush" on these little Mini-Copperheads with a Wharncliffe main. Ran on to this one and immediately went cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs over those Antique Barn Board handles. It's a sickness, I tell ya.
